My mother’s native place is Dhosi village in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. The mountain of Dhosi is an extinct volcano, of which it is a part, standing alone at the north-west end of the Aravalli mountain range.

The mountain of Dhosi, which is about 345 meters to 470 meters above the surrounding land and 740 meters above sea level. It has temples, ponds, forts and caves at the top and is surrounded by forest.
